Our Program
In order for our community to thrive, we first have to survive. And with tobacco use for parts of our community being over three times as high as the state average, the KGLRC has an obligation to prioritize tobacco use reduction among the LGBT and HIV communities.
From providing educational materials to community leaders, to guiding individuals through the access points they need, to holding open tobacco use support and prevention meetings, the KGLRC is committed to advocating for a tobacco-free LGBT community in Southwest Michigan.
Interested in help quitting? Call us or send an email through our contact page and we’ll get you on the path to a happier, healthier, tobacco-free state of mind.

Also, don’t forget to come by our building for FREE STD TESTING on the second Thursday of every month from 10am to noon. Testing is compliments of our upstairs neighbors, CARES! Always safe, always confidential, always stigma free.
