Membership dues are a means of raising operating revenue. Unlike our targeted year end donor appeal, dues help us pay for the rent, the phone bill, and all the other costs of running an organization.

Membership enables you to belong. All of us need to belong to something. Your membership connects you with one of the most significant justice causes of the 21st Century. Human rights for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons are under attack. And yet, this struggle has the richest opportunity for helping people learn to live together in peace.

Most important, membership enables you to be present for someone else; As a member of the Resource Center, when we spoke with the Portage School Board, your membership means you were there also. When the Resource Center applies for other funding, your membership strengthens our ability to leverage additional urgently needed dollars.
