The Kalamazoo Gay Lesbian Resource Center and Transcend, will host the Transgender Day of Remembrance on Saturday, November 17th @ 7pm.

The event will be held at the Whole Art Studio (246 North Kalamazoo Mall). Parking is available in the parking structure on the corner of N. Rose and Eleanor Streets (near the KVCC Arcadia Campus). To get to the Whole Art Studio from the parking structure, take Eleanor Street to the Kalamazoo Mall and head south one block.

This event will allow transgender people, their friends, families, and allies to remember and celebrate the lives of our transgender brothers and sisters lost to violence, discrimination, and hatred.

The evenings events will begin with a welcoming address from Thomas Seiler, President of the KGLRC Board of Directors.
Following Tom’s welcome, Amy Hunter will perform “Wrong Dress Size”
